238,098 More Reasons why Doc is a Fool

We never fail to be amused by the profound idiocy that is James "Doc" McManus.

And with some new, stunning breaking news in hand about Twit Minor (thank you devoted readers!), we've decided to take a break from our summer vacation. Turns out McManus is not only stupid enough to continue libeling Odyssey after he's already been sued, but he's also a deadbeat who doesn't pay his bills. Doc recently filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in a Federal Bankruptcy Court in the Virgin Islands.

Doc fancies himself well-informed about current events, but he apparently failed to notice Congress's recent overhaul of bankruptcy legislation that is decidedly unfriendly to individual debtors. It not only makes filing far more punitive over the long haul, it also makes it virtually impossible to have the entire debt discharged. And with $238,098.11 worth of debt, Doc should thank the heavens there's no such thing as debtor prisons any longer.

Note to Doc: We actually wonder if you're stupid enough to think this prevents you from being prosecuted for libel. In fact, it should finally awaken you to cease harassing the company with your countless aliases, lies and BS over at Yahoo and on History Hunters. If you're found guilty and a judgement against you is rendered, you'll be on the hook for those damages regardless of your personal situation. We're obviously not attorneys, but we think a public apology and a promise to never post about Odyssey again is in order so you can focus on getting your obviously disheveled life into some kind of rational order.

We'll even offer to post it here for you. We're waiting....

No reasonable person wishes ill will on another human being, but, in your specific case, you're an obvious exception to that humane rule. You're getting everything you deserve and more. Some call it Karma, we call it "about time." It's about time the truth about your character came into focus, especially since you've questioned others for years now with no consequences. The screw is turning now, though, that's for certain.

So Doc, as soon as we stop laughing at you (which, be forewarned, won't be anytime soon), we'll post some analyses of your public filing. We're particularly interested in your staggering amount of credit card debt. It's tough trying to live like a Glorious King when you're nothing more than a sorry pauper, huh? You poor sap. Perhaps we should call it "Trying to keep up with the Bartrams"?

(Ouch.)

I'm not surprised. It looks like Doc was "ruined" well before Odyssey filed their lawsuit.

Guess he doesn't know that any judgements from legal actions against him started prior to filing for bankrupsey cannot be avoided by filing after the process is started.

Hard to believe one person has a $500 per month food bill. It must include drink, also.

And what's this over $600 per month in taxes having a leased home and $2200 monthly income? That's more than I pay on a $150,000 house, fed and state taxes, sales taxes, personal property taxes, etc. all combined and with about $3400 monthly income.

Finally, I find it disconcerting that credit card companies would continue to issue him cards (obviously he hasn;t been paying any on them). He has 4 times as many as I do. Wonder what his credit score is?

I wonder if the doofus has just openly admitted to credit card fraud? I would think the IRS would be interested in this as well. How the hell was making payments on these cards on his stated annual income? Something stinks, that's for sure!

Is there anyone out there that can load Doc a pot to pee in? And he needs a clean pair of boots, too!

$200 in cash -- that's all the poor sap has in the world. I see he values his clothes at $300. That Vesper t-shirt must have been expensive! (Maybe that's why he wears it all the time?)

He found the shirt at a Thrift store in Florida. He left there in a hurry to move to St. Thomas, screwing everyone back in the states. Even was too cheap to have his own place, and mooched off of a girlfriend who dumped him. Poor idiot keeps the same cycle of moochimng off of others to this day. Even has the nerve to expect guests to pay for everything when they visit and calls them cheap skates if they don't pay for everything while they vist. Sea Tow would have been better without ever seeing him. He has something on the owner that keeps him there. Blackmail is his favorite method of obtaining things.

Has anyone bothered to see if he gets anything from the military for his retirement? I am astounded to see how much credit card dept the guy runs up with such a limited income. Looks like fraud to me. I can not understand how he got such a line of credit with such limited resources. He left Florida in a huge hurry. Probably because he owed so much money back there. I know for a fact he wanted no one to know where he lived and had moved to. Was furious when that leaked out. He needs to be put under a microscope and looked at hard. he loves doing that to others and turn around is fair play.
