An unintentionally funny (as are most amusing things at HHI) exchange between the history poseurs today:
Admin: "Doc: your two most recent posts concern (and reference) the same legal document, do they not?"
Doc: "Sorry Admin, Please excuse. Yes, both excerpts refer to the same telling entry in the court documents. There was an emergency, a sinking vessel that morning, and I am remiss, a mistake in haste. I was unable to post the entire docket entry but it is most interesting."
So, in the "real world," Doc is dealing with sinking ships. It's amazing how sometimes life's metaphors speak loud and clear, no?
