'Sundowner' Iroquois Mark II am ketch #229. She is an factory original ketch rig - one of a kind as far as is known. New Honda 9.9 longshaft, new radio, depth sounder, new pressure water system, new batteries, new inverter, new lifelines, new trampoline, new Caribe dinghy with Yamaha 9.9, Auto-Helm auto pilot, new propane system and stove, rewired. Lying Lighthouse Point, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. $25,000.00. Contact Jim, email: nauticalresearch@yahoo.comGosh, this boat sure sounds lovely with all those fancy "new" items, no? Did Doc load up on all new equipment in advance of knowing he'd file for bankruptcy? Also, we think it interesting that this asset does not appear in Doc's bankruptcy filing. We therefore think the judge and creditors might be interested in the status of this lovely vessel.
We've emailed Doc with this information and told him we would give him an opportunity to respond to this before we do anything else with it. After all, it's a very serious crime to hide assets from a bankruptcy court and creditors. Especially when you're talking about $238,000 in liabilities.
Let's see what he says....

Gee, I wonder how much of that new equipment was bought with his credit cards, not to mention the boat itself.
Doc's ad for the boat was also on miami cragelist, but has expired or been pulled.
This may all be old out of date news, but I would not want to be in his shoes if it isn't. It will be hard to be heard from prison and he most definitely will be ruined.
Ruined? Why how do you ruin a rat? He has plenty of garbage to feed upon and he doesn't even need cups to pour his booze in. He can use old coconut shells that are scattered all over St Thomas. He can also pick wild bananas to subsist on. Why he can even live on one of the Sea Tow inflatables and fish for a living. Plenty of Lobster down there. He brags how he made a living out of diving for lobster for years. All you have to do is ask the local dive shops around the islands and they will fill you in on this bilge rat.
